Sakawa lady and her gang arrested a few days after flaunting her wealth on social media. A few days after a Nigerian lady, Deborah Okiemute, known widely as Sassie Dira on Facebook flaunted her luxurious lifestyle online, she has been picked up by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
The young lady was busted along with four members of a syndicate of internet fraudsters in Makurdi, Benue State- Nigeria.
The suspects, Gideon Damisa, Sunday James, Friday Ebosele, and Okiemute Deborah, were rounded up by operatives of the Commission following an intelligence report on their alleged criminal activities in and around the Makurdi metropolis.
At the point of arrest, the principal suspect Gideon Damisa was in possession of a Mercedes Benz GLK 350 2010 Model, 1 iPhone, 2 Pro Max, 2 Infinix phone, and ATM cards, among others.
Sassie drew attention to herself when she posted a photo of her new flashy car which she captioned; ”First day of the month looking absolutely stunning as usual, fake life at its peak but don’t borrow clothing to show off 😂 😂 fully focused for the kingdom and the king’s spec 😀 only those with Royal blood should DM,’‘ the lady captioned her post.
In a statement by the Commission’s spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, on Tuesday, the EFCC said the suspects were picked up last Saturday in Makurdi and its environs.
The statement read: “The Makurdi Zonal Office of the EFCC on May 1, 2021, arrested four members of a syndicate of internet fraudsters in Makurdi, Benue State.
