Fatherhood Has Completely Slowed Down My Career- Sarkodie Discloses – BET award winning Ghanaian rapper has disclosed how being a father has changed his life completely.
Speaking to talk show host, Kweku Sintim-Misa on the KSM show in a recent interview, Sarkodie said he was happy being a father but he didn’t realise how much time it will take from his career. He added that he devotes all his time to his little girl, Titi, that he barely has time for his Sarknation fans.
“It’s a great thing to be a father, it’s actually what I imagined and more but it has it’s downside, you don’t notice the downside but with time you get to realize that you need to do what you were doing and not put a hold to it because someone new came into your life and that’s what has happened to me. It has slowed me down!.” Sarkodie stated.

Sarkodie further went ahead to apologize to his Sarknation fans for failing to update them on things happening in his life.
I’m sorry, this is new, to SackNation, I use to update you about my moves.but when Titi came in I didn’t really care about you guys”.
“Till now, I’ve not really snapped out of it hundred percent (100%) but I just realized I need to work” He added.
Speaking on the issue of being stingy, Sarkodie noted that he doesn’t care about what people say about him.
” Like the stingy thing, it’s a social media thing so everyone hops on it then it starts to trend. Personally, I don’t care. So, what they are pushing you to do is to prove yourself that you are not stingy which I will never do. So, you’ll always keep that thing in your head till you die and I don’t care”.
In his final statement, Sarkodie stated that he is not arrogant as people accused. He made it clear that, he has dealt with the wrong people in his career hence the reason he is being portrayed as arrogant because when he travels to do shows outside the country, he only receives positive feedback.
