Black Sherif becomes first Ghanaian to join Youtube Music Foundry 2022 Class. Black Sherif has gain another recorgnition to his name by becoming the first Ghanaian to be included in YouTube Music Foundry 2022 class.

The Class of 2022 is biggest Foundry’s class to date, scouting indie talent spanning genres and continents.

Created in 2015, Foundry is YouTube’s incubator for independent music, supporting indie artists at all stages of their careers through annual artist development classes and ongoing release support campaigns.

Black Sherif’s inclusion into the enviable league together with Nigeria’s Joeboy was announced by Google on Africa’s Twitter handle hours ago.

The handle posted;

“We’re excited to welcome @blacksherif_ & @Joeboy to the YouTube Music #Foundry2022 class, which includes 28 other stars from across of the world. For us, it’s an incredible honor to be able to support these musicians as they expand their creative influence #Africatotheworld.”
