Galamsey a popular term for dig and searxh for gold in Ghana now seems destroying the forest and river bodies.
Now there is an ongoing anti galamsey fight leading to protestors storming the country in numbers. Dr. Ayew Afriyie, a member of Parliment for Effiduase Asokore and Middle Belt Campaign co-ordinator for Bawumia has shared their decision on the matter.
He said, this is a plan to sabotage the running party to lose their campaign seat in the Galamsey communities.
He futhered by saying “they want stop Galamsey operators today or tomorrow”.
"We won't stop the Galamsey operators today or tomorrow. This is sabotage to make us lose our seats in Galamsey constituencies."

This has led to many criticising their statement whiles other too shared their thoughts on the matter.
